Vintage Inspired Stained Glass Floral Piece with Cicada Wings and Snake Skin
This piece I designed myself, from my love of nouveau and deco art, and my love of nature. The outer glass frame is a swirly maroon glass that glows magenta in the light. The diamonds on each side are clear glass with real snake skin. The half circles at the top and bottom are clear glass with small cicada wings, baby’s breath, and chokeberry blossoms. Faded daisies are beside them, and a diamond in the middle holds a rose, and is topped with clear beveled glass. Milky white and clear glass fills the middle. The soldered edges are stained with a black patina and polished to a shine. It is held with a sturdy stainless steel chain.
It measures 11”H and 5.5”W
***Do not submerge in water, Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
